Wednesday, March 14, 2007, 12:13:00 am SUNDAY; morning was seriously dreadful. imagine being scolded by your parents in the early morning in the car, on the way to church. they were shouting at the top of their lungs about me.. not replying at the right 'tone' and making unnecessary 'sounds' as they may call it. but i was SERIOUSLY just tried.. really tired out to the max lor. anyway, that was that, i couldnt do anything about it. so yeah.. bad start. didn't really go to chruch with the proper attitude actually. i wasnt really paying attention and everything. it kinda affected me BIG because of that bad start in the morning. so MKC was kinda crazy. upside down from usual prog., well..maybe for me lor. no musicans. :( myself and aunty steph did one way jesus, spirit of the Lord and heart of worship WITHOUT music. imagine that. woots. so on with lunch and went for uncle eng hiong's funeral. well, as always i kinda cried in the end. well, i agree that he has gone to a better place and everything. but i guess.. comfort for his family members and close friends are much needed. yah.. will be praying for them; esp ruth and becks. (: yeay. hang out at the beach with pen. we drank. i bought this wine peach cocktail. love it. she doesnt. who cares. had a great time. no need to say too much. oh yes! i saw annice and kris lor. lol. they're looking good. huhu. lucky my parents didnt scold me when i came home. phews START OF IGNITE CONFERENCE: Session 1-summary -David and Goliath: fight the GIANT in my life, to CONFRONT and to RESIST -Saul actually believed in David (why?) His great faith in God. So, find someone that believes in you to conquer your 'giants!" -and yes, duh... we CANT run away from our problems. (: Session 2-summary -F1 TO F5 HOLY GHOST TWISTER -F1: Forgiveness -F2: Fortress -F3: Forfeiture -F4:Faith -F5:REVIVAL! (personally, i'm kinda stuck at F2... too afraid to move on with F3 actually. fear i have to admit.) Workshop: EXCUSE ME, WILL YOU BE MY FRIEND? Day2-IGNITE CONFERENCE (was kinda keeping myself awake throughout most of the sessions actually...) SESSION 3-ONE LIFE, ONE CHANCE summary -"a leader takes you to where you NEED to go, not where you WANT to go." -question: will you carry the bones of joseph? -Dream an (impoosible) dream -Be willing to sow(give up) -God will raise you up -Have a greater purpose -Get your portion SESSION 4-ONE MORE NIGHT WITH THE FROGS summary -Exodus 8:1-7 "...i will send a plaque of frogs across your entire land.." -Abundance in anything=more problems amen? -If you dont deal with it, it WONT go away -Psalm 19:12-13 secret fault->presumptuous sins->kill the frog(sin)->made known(dominion)->takes over you(addicted/controlled) ->great transgressionhave a sin, know it, but still don't want to repent) was totally touched during that time. went up for prayers. brought up 2 main issues in my life unto the Lord. hopefully he will help me through, cause i'm really at a lost. well, i really think that it was turn out right/ (: Workshop: SPEAK UP NOW summary (lots of jokes and sudden shouts from Ps James Sing. he came to zlscc to preach before. he reused one of his jokes. totally hilarious. huhu) -personal evangalism: 1. anytime is a GOOD time 2.building a COMMON GROUND to share the gospel 3.remove BARRERS(what they believe in) to the gospel 4.offer them to JESUS more cardgames and drinks before our dinner. we had kfc for dinner. yummy! after so much hawker stall food. too tired of it. needed some fast food badly. haha. made it. EVENING RALLY-FED UP, FILLED UP, FIRED UP. -we have no power without God.God has the power! lots of holy spirit movement for the evening rally for the last night. but it was good.. see ppl getting touch. thanks to becks and laur that prayed for me. yup, i have to and need to believe that i will be freed in Jesus Name, amen?
